My July IPSY Bag!

It finally came! My first Ipsy Glam bag. If you are not familiar with Ipsy, I will start off with a little introduction. Ipsy is a website that you can subscribe to and try out beauty products. These products vary based on a quiz you take and are made to fit your style. When subscribed, you receive a glam bag every month. This bag includes 5 beauty products and a super cute make up bag. Sounds like a great deal right?! Better yet... It is only $10 a month AND free shipping! I love it. Below I have showed you what I received in my July bad as well as a little review of each product! Enjoy!

Here is what I received in my July Glam Bag! I will start with the bag. It is beautiful! Also, it can be used for other things too, not just make up!

OFRA Eyeshadow/Highlighter BLISS: This is such a beautiful shade! I have used it twice and both times I used it as a highlighter. It gave my face a natural glow and looked great with my skin tone! I really like this product and I would totally purchase it!

Teeez Cosmetics Read My Lips Lipstick: First thing you should know is that I am not really a lipstick wearer, this being said, I really love this shade. It is perfect for a night out or just to add a little pop of color to your every day look. It is very pigmented and stays on for a long time!

eva nye Freshen Up Dry Shampoo: I LOVE DRY SHAMPOO. It is seriously a life saver. Yes, I shower, but sometimes it is nice to have dry shampoo handy to freshen up. This brand was a good dry shampoo, but I am still on the hunt for a GREAT one. One aspect of this product I really enjoyed was the smell. Sometimes, dry shampoos can smell really funky, but this one really smells fresh!

VASANTI Brighten Up Exfoliating Cleanser: This face wash was the perfect. It was not too rough on my skin, but it was exfoliating enough to leave it smooth and dry. This is something I will be purchasing for sure!

Crown Tweezers: I'll have to admit, when I first saw this I was like seriously.. they sent me tweezers?! After using them on my eyebrows, I am very pleased they have sent me this. I did not realize how bad my other tweezers were until I tried these. I will be keeping these around for a while!

Overall, I was very pleased with my Glam Bag and I cannot wait to see what August brings me! :)

Which Way is the Wind Blowing?

This week in preschool, we made anemometers out of simple household objects. These turned out great and the students had a lot of fun experimenting with them!

Materials:
Paper Cups
Straws

Unsharpened Pencils
Hole Punch
Stapler or Tape
Nail or Thumb Tack

Step 1:
Give each person 3 cups. 2 Cups should have 1 hole punched in the top and the 3rd cup needs two holes in the top across from each other, and a hole in the bottom.

Step 2:
Stick a straw through the two holes in the middle cup.

Step 3:
Stick a cup to each end of the straw.

Step 4:
Making sure the cups are facing away from each other, staple (or tape) them to the straw so they do not move around.

Step 5:
Stick the pencil, eraser side up, through the bottom hole of the middle cup.

Step 6:
Use the nail to stick through the straw and into the eraser to make a pivoting point for the anemometer. It is helpful to make it as loose as possible so it spins better.
